Wine Autumn is a themed gourmet walk around Salgesch: from the station, through varied landscapes, past shady spots and viewpoints, from stop to stop through the year of the vine, and back to the heart of the village, where everyone meets once more. The start is partly in time slots, for a calm, high-quality experience. Wine, music and encounters, carried by the whole village.

Wine Autumn is an event of the Weindorf Salgesch association. Its members, the village cellars, develop the format together, year after year. Along the way, they pour for you in person.

Book nowSalgesch lies in Valais between Sierre and Leuk. Reachable by train from Visp or Sion in under 20 minutes. We recommend public transport, parking in the village is limited.
The tastings at every stop, five plates of Valais cuisine along the route, the musical accompaniment and the shared finale in the village centre. You pay nothing along the way.
The pass includes 17 tastings of 0.3 dl each. In addition there are 5 plates of Valais cuisine. The terms of participation apply.
Travel to and from the event, drinks beyond the tastings and wine to take home.
You go at your own pace. Sporty groups are out for about 3.5 hours, longer with more time at the stops. Start from 10:00.
You should be steady on your feet, but you don't need to be sporty. The paths through the vineyards are uneven, so we recommend sturdy shoes. Alcohol is served under Swiss law. For prams or limited mobility, the route is only partly suitable. If you have questions about suitability, get in touch in advance. The event is open from age 16. Participation is recommended from 18.

Yes. The ticket is transferable until it is personalised. Every ticket is personalised to one person before entry.
